In 2008, SIFE Memorial created Be Green, the first environmental program for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada! Be Green engages youth, from the ages of 4 to 13, through 15 interactive sessions that include newspaper fashion shows, tree planting, and environmental advertising. Last May, we showcased Be Green to directors from across the country at the Boys and Girls Clubs’ national conference in Calgary. Following this conference, this summer, 12 clubs, across 7 provinces ran Be Green with 1225 youth!

Be Green is the first SIFE program in Canada to achieve this level of national reach!
