Based in Business is a program dedicated to creating entrepreneurial opportunities for Canadian Forces members through a three-phased business program. The Department of National Defence identified the need to help medically discharged, and soon-to-be-retired members transition from a military environment into the business world in order to create economic stability. In 2009, SIFE Memorial developed and implemented a year-long entrepreneurial program tailored to this demographic. This summer we ran our Based in Business bootcamp for the 3rd year in a row, hosting our largest number of delegates to date. We are excited to continue working with these delegates throughout the year, helping make their entrepreneurial dreams a reality.
